Do you want to become a part of an exciting industry that is dedicated to the quality of life in our future? HVAC technicians must be imaginative and prepared to face new developments everyday. Some areas of instruction are blueprint reading, soldering, brazing, refrigeration systems, electric motor repair, and understanding of basic electricity.
The air conditioning, refrigeration and heating industry offers essential environmental control services for automobiles, factories, hospitals, offices, the retail industry and residential homes. HVAC offers a great variety of occupations, job security, mobility and unlimited career opportunities. There is no other industry that exceeds the constant demand for qualified, well-trained plumbers. There is no limit to the amount of money the skilled plumber may earn. The effort an individual makes and the seriousness with which one approaches the study of plumbing determine how far and how quickly a person can advance in this trade.
Successful HVAC students will have the opportunity to interview with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. If accepted into the union, CCTE students will receive one year of union training credit for the training they received in class.
